How do we register at DCCS?

Whether you’re new to the area or your child is just beginning kindergarten, we welcome you! Our Registration page has all the information you need to enroll at one of our schools.

How old does my child need to be to register for kindergarten?

In accordance with state mandates, we require students be at least five (5) years of age on or before August 1 in order to enroll in kindergarten.

What is Harmony 3, and am I required to have an account?

Harmony 3 is an important tool we use to connect our families and schools. Every family and student must have an account in order to register for school, pay for meals and fees, check student grades, and more. If you require assistance or need access to a computer, please contact your child’s school to use a computer on site.

My child has special needs due to a learning or physical disability. What do I need to do to ensure she has the resources and accommodations she needs?

Every child is entitled to receive an education appropriate to his or her unique needs. Learn more about our Special Education Services, or contact the central office to speak with someone in our department about how we can help.
