ATTENDANCE

Good attendance is important to your child's success in school. If it is necessary for your child to be absent or tardy, a phone call to school notifying the office of the absence, and a note giving the reason for the absence or tardy MUST be brought to the teacher upon the student's return to school or the student will be counted unexcused.

Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. Students who arrive after 8:30 a.m. are considered tardy and must report to the school office for an admission slip to class. The record of tardies will be kept and tardiness affects the perfect attendance record.

8:30-9:20 - Tardy a.m.
arrival after 9:20 a.m. - 1/2 day a.m. absence
leaving before 2:20 p.m. - 1/2 day p.m. absence
leaving between 2:20 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. - Tardy p.m.

IN CASE OF ILLNESS

Regular attendance is vital to your child's educational success. However, we do not encourage attendance at school if a child is seriously ill. If your child gets sick at school, you will be contacted.
